Purchase of all gowns

Before progressing with your order, you must confirm that you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully and retain a copy for your records.
1. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order with Kiva & Zen Bridal (“we”, “us”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Made-to-Order Goods
All bridal gowns ordered from Kiva & Zen Bridal are made-to-order and tailored to your specifications. As such, these items cannot generally be resold. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have carefully selected your style, size, and colour, and that these are correct.
3. Deposit & Payment
A 50% deposit is required to secure your order.
This deposit covers the cost of materials, manufacturing, and administration and is non-refundable once the order has been confirmed and manufacturing has commenced.
The remaining balance is due when we are notified by the designer that your gown is ready for delivery, an estimated delivery date will be given at the time of ordering.
If full payment is not received within 30 days of the agreed date, ownership of the goods will revert to Kiva and Zen Bridal, and all payments made will be retained.
4. Cancellation
Due to the nature of made-to-order goods, orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has begun.
If cancellation occurs before manufacturing starts, Kiva & Zen Bridal reserves the right to retain the deposit to cover administration and restocking costs.
All monies paid are non-transferable to other orders.
5. Retention of Title
All goods remain the property Kiva & Zen Bridal until full payment has been made. Goods must not be removed from our premises until full payment has been settled.
6. Measurements
All gowns are ordered in accordance with manufacturer size charts and the measurements provided by the customer.
The customer confirms they have consulted the size chart and agree with the size ordered.
We cannot accept liability for changes in measurements after ordering, including changes due to pregnancy, post-pregnancy, surgery, or weight fluctuations.
We are not responsible for incorrect measurements provided by the customer via telephone, email, or other means.
7. Colour & Fabric Variations
Exact colour shades or fabric designs cannot be guaranteed. Material swatches are a guide only, and variations may occur in manufacturing.
Dresses with beading and embroidery may differ slightly in the amount/placement of the beading/embroidery to that of the sample dress. These are outside of Kiva & Zen Bridal's control.
8. Alterations
Alterations are not included in the purchase price and will be charged separately.
Alterations are carried out by an independent seamstress, chosen by you the bride.
Customers are not obliged to use any seamstress, we offer as a recommendation and we accept no liability for work carried out by other providers.
9. Delivery
Standard delivery is 12–24 weeks from the date of order unless otherwise agreed. Wedding gowns may take up to 10 months to arrive, depending on manufacturer lead times.
Customers must provide accurate wear dates and measurements in a timely manner. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by late or incorrect information.
Rush orders may be accommodated in accordance with the designer's policy; any additional costs are the customer’s responsibility.
10. Goods Arrival & Collection
Handmade clothes cannot be rushed and, as such, you must accept that all shipping dates are approximate. Time needs to be allowed for the process to be completed, therefore the designer has the right to change the shipping date based on their production schedule.
Customers will be notified when their order arrives.
Late payment will incur a £10 per week late fee.
If payment is not made within 30 days of the agreed date, goods will revert to Kiva & Zen Bridal and all payments forfeited.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Kiva & Zen Bridal recommends against wearing make-up or fake tan to fittings to avoid damage to garments.
Customers are responsible for the care of goods once collected. We accept no liability for loss or damage thereafter.
12. Sale / Discount Stock
Sale items are ex-showroom or discounted samples and are sold as seen with any defects noted at the time of sale.
All sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
All monies paid for sale items are non-refundable and non-transferable.
13. Insurance
We strongly recommend customers take out wedding insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
14. Governing Law
This contract is governed by English Law. The jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales applies. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
